Les Rivieres nestles in the tranquil Lizonne River valley in the Perigord Vert natural park. 10 acres of gardens, woods and wild meadows, this is rural Dordogne at its best. Our five gites provide great family-friendly accommodation with heated pool, shady geranium-covered terraces and fabulous views over the valley. Each gite has a fully-equipped kitchen, superking size beds, both French & English TV channels, WiFi Internet, outdoor dining and lounging areas and access to the pool. We offer a wide variety of activities for all ages including a games barn, fire pit, bikes, midnight swimming, woodland walks straight from the door and a nearby private fishing lake. Fun pizza parties and other celebratory meals available.

This was a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in late October and arrived to a wonderful lit wood burning stove, so the house was really toasty and inviting. The kitchen was the best equipped I have stayed in which made cooking a joy. If your after peace and tranquility I recommend this place. Richard and Nicky was the perfect boasts. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Exactly what we were after, would highly recommend to families - really clean, extremely well euipped and choice of bedding for warm/hotter nights. Private table and chairs and BBQ area just outside the door. UK channels on TV were great for an early rising toddler and good internet. The whole layout of the place seemed really well thought out to make you feel there are plenty of places to sit in privacy - sandpit and swing/slide under a shady tree but visible from pool and outdoor eating areas. Loads of games to keep our toddler entertained for the whole day.

Where to start?! Superb accommodation in a peaceful location with excellent facilities. The secluded garden provided a great spot to chill and gaze at the bats, barn owls and stars in the evenings. It was Nicky and Richard's approach as hosts that made such a difference. Nothing was too much trouble. The pizza party is highly recommended aswell as the guided tour of the nearby troglodyte caves and the fishing lake. Great place in a great area with great hosts
