Weddings
We only host a small number of weddings a year and which means each one is a truly bespoke and unique wedding experience. Having you wedding at Les Rivieres enables you can extend your celebrations and combine them with a lovely holiday where you can spend quality time with all your nearest and dearest. There is something to keep everyone happy and quiet corners for grandpa to escape to! The best time to enjoy this beautiful area is late May through to the end of September.
We can host upto 50 guests for the wedding day with accommodation for up to 37 people in the 5 properties on site.
We have a list of additional accommodation in the area.
After exchanging your vows in the woodland clearing, under the canopy of trees with just the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, you can enjoy reception drinks and lawn games in the garden before a delicious wedding breakfast under the covered terrace.
The covered terrace is the perfect blank canvas for your theme and can host up to 65 guests for your wedding meal. There is a bar area next door which can be pre stocked by yourselves from the local wine merchants with beer on tap!
The evening can finish with dancing to a band or disco into the early hours under the festoon lighting.
During your stay we can arrange excursions perhaps a bit of wine tasting or for the more energetic some canoeing or tree climbing.
We can also organise a pre or post wedding pizza evening using the restored original bread oven onsite.
We work with fantastic suppliers to make the planning easy including photographers, florists, wine merchants, hair and makeup artists, yoga teachers, caterers etc.
Wedding package
What’s included:
- Accomodation in all 5 gites for upto 37 guests plus babies. Includes all bedding and one large towel and one small towel per person and cleaning.
- Exclusive use of the site for all your guests staying and in the area including swimming pool, and fishing lake.
- Nicky and Richard available for help setting up and creating the perfect scene for you. We will help liaise with suppliers aswell. We have a number of decorative items that you may like to use , these include some net drapes, festoon lights, circular flower wreaths, vases and candle sticks.
- 2night recce stay for 2 people, a few months before, so we can show you around, discuss your needs, meet the caterers and other suppliers, and help plan your perfect day/week! With a trip to florist accompanied by Nicky to translate!
For the wedding day:
- Use of our trestle tables and grey Bistrot chairs for service and meal. For weddings over 40 guests, extra tables, chairs and a toilet block will have to hired.
- If required a wedding arch and portable PA system for the service and speeches.
- Use of our table wear, plates, glasses, champagne flutes, cutlery.
- Use of our catering kitchen by the caterers.
- Extra fridges for chilling wine.
- Large marquee for serving the food from, with tables, table clothes and chafing dishes if required.
- 2 charcoal barbecues at covered terrace for use of caterers or yourselves during your stay.
- Sound system and lighting for disco with blue tooth playlist from phone
- Selection of Garden games.
We have a reliable group of local suppliers that we use to provide the following: we will liaise with them for ordering and delivery but they are not included:
Any catering (including barbecues, food trucks, hog roast, 3/5 course meals), Hair and makeup, flowers, Priest/Celebrant, Live Music (Including violinist, jazz, guitar player, rock bands etc), a special cake, Photographer, Baby-sitters, Travel arrangements, taxis or mini bus hire, Pizza Party, Wine/ beer and other refreshments.
Wedding Package price starts from €9000
We do not host weddings in winter or autumn months.
