Family holidays for under 5’s is well catered for at Les Rivieres. Having over 10 acres of grounds to explore, a large secure swimming pool and games room with air hockey… let alone the baby
Parents have no need to worry when bringing their children to Les Rivières. There is a variety of entertainment for the young ones too!

They can have a jump on the trampoline, catching butterflies in the field, knock a ball on the football pitch or make a den in the wild woods. All the gites are well equipped with boxes of toys and equipment for getting them involved in the kitchen, baking a cake or some holiday cookies!

Onsite:
1. Swimming
The large 14m x 6m is securely fenced pool and has a shady area for little ones. There is a large shallow end (around 1m deep) with Roman steps down into the water. In the pool area, there is also a paddling pool and water table along with loads of toys, water pistols and games.

2. Pond tipping
Tucked away in a securely fenced area of the garden is a small pond teeming with tadpoles and newts. There are some interesting dragonfly larvae to catch as well.
Or for older kids, they could try fishing at our private lake. Well stocked and all equipment and expertise available. This does not pose a risk to little ones exploring around the gites as it is situated a short walk from the estate.


3. Star Gazing
Grill marshmallows on the fire pit while watching shooting stars and the most star-packed sky you have ever seen.
4. Bike riding
The quiet country lanes around les Rivieres are ideal for cycling. We have a large number of bikes free to use, 2 with baby seats and one tag along. We recommend a bike ride to restaurant du Musee for a lovely alfresco lunch looking over the Tourbieres nature reserve. watch out for the cheeky Coypu who are partial to a bit of bread.
